“This is the finest Oakridge pinot I can remember tasting, and while it’s taken time, David Bicknell’s pinots aren’t far behind his world class chardonnays. Wonderful fruit purity and complexity here with its scents of white strawberries, crushed rose petals and patchouli. The effortless medium-bodied palate has a real sense of elegance with persistent, silky tannins in perfect harmony with the fruit. While it’s a total joy now, I’d love to see this in seven to 10 years. A superb wine.” – Philip Rich
