Halliday Wine Companion - 96pts
“A wine of medium-deep crimson colour, with gorgeous aromatics including dark cherries, satsuma plums, violets and a gentle waft of cedar from the oak. Classic, medium-bodied and beautifully poised cabernet, with silky long tannins. This should age effortlessly over the next 10–15 years.” – Philip Rich
Wine Reviewer - 96pts
“A classical Cabernet Sauvignon that has concentration and definition. The nose gives blackberry, mulberry, a dusting of cocoa and cedar spice. The texture of the wine on the palate is impeccable, the tannins are fine but have such impact and give dimension and length to textured black berry fruits; there is an understated chocolate note to finish with driving length of blackberry and faint dusting of brown spice. A very long life ahead.” – Patrick Eckel
The Wine Front - 95+pts
“Such an elegant cabernet and so well fruited. This is money in the bank as a cellaring option. Mint and tobacco over juicy redcurrant, edging into black. Integrated cedarwood oak with a jube-like top note. Fruit-driven but chained throughout by high grade tannin. All good things, in all good order. Beautifully sustained, tobacco-flecked finish. Excellent.” – Campbell Mattinson
