Halliday Wine Companion - 97+pts
“From an east-facing block in Coldstream and planted at 5300 vines per ha. 30% whole bunches. A very bright crimson purple. This is clearly excellent, with dark fruits, pure violets and exotic spices creating a fragrant and pure bouquet. Very even and energetic on the palate. The tannins, as always with this wine, are present but polished. A class act to drink now, with food, and over the next decade at least.” – Philip Rich
The Real Review - 96pts
“Bright, lively and really youthful in the glass. Really lifted and perfumed aromas of blueberry, boysenberry, Asian spice, clovey oak, bramble, anise and sarsaparilla. Mid-weighted, fleshy, blue fruited and delicious. There’s lovely weight, length, mouth-feel and presence. This is a very classy cooler climate shiraz.” – Aaron Brasher
