The Yarra Valley has three distinct geographic zones or sub-regions - lower warmer, middle cool and higher cooler sub-regions. We have matched particular varieties with the specific sites to give you outstanding examples of single vineyard wines.

Vibrant red with a red hue hue. Aromas of red cherry, pomegranate and wild strawberry leap from the glass, notes of spice, herb and earth add complexity. The palate is soft and juicy with vibrant red and blue fruit. Fresh yet balanced with delicate silky tannins that just run through the palate and a plush line of acidity holding it all in place. A seamless wine from start to finish.

The fruit for this wine was sourced from the north facing Henk Vineyard, sited in the red volcanic soils of Woori Yallock.

A traditional winemaking approach was used to produce this wine – 80% whole berry fermentation with 20% whole bunch inclusion in open vessels for two weeks followed by a 10 month maturation in French oak barrels.

A warm, wet spring followed by a dry summer and autumn period has delivered good crops in near perfect harvesting conditions
