The Vineyard Series matches specific varieties and sites to give you outstanding examples of single vineyard wines.

This is really complex, lifted and detailed. Black cherry, blood plum, dried raspberry and dark brambles inflected with light brown spices and hints of aniseed. It’s so bright and fresh, with a soft, rich satiny palate. The blackcurrant and cherry fruit shine through the cinnamon/allspice complexity, with notes of pastry crust, violets, licorice and rosemary. This is composed in both its size and structure, elegantly medium bodied with a real lightness of touch.

This wine was sourced from the north-facing Oakridge vineyard sited in the grey alluvial loams of Coldstream.

A traditional winemaking approach was used to produce this wine - 70% whole berry and 30% whole bunch fermentation in open vessels followed by 14 months maturation in French oak puncheons.

A long, late and cool growing season with very low crops delivering wines with exceptional flavour, freshness and balance.
