The Vineyard Series matches specific varieties and sites to give you outstanding examples of single vineyard wines.

Golden straw with a slight green tinge. An intense grapefruit lift greets the nose from the outset, with honeydew melon and mint fudge elements all contributing to a compelling olfactory experience. Gunflint and Thai basil add extra layers to further baseline aromas of Meyer lemon. On the palate, a burst of lemon and lime fruit coats the mouth with a glossy blanket. Memories of Cavendish and Harvey lemon drops and Pine Lime Splice are pure joy, carried along by a defined acid line and lemon pith texture that leaves the mouth salivating for more.

This wine was sourced from the north facing Willowlake Vineyard, sited in the red volcanic soils of Gladysdale.

A traditional winemaking approach was used to produce this wine: handpicking and whole bunch pressing directly into 500 litre French oak puncheons for a natural fermentation followed by 14 months maturing on lees.

A vintage defined by cool, wet conditions, low crops and harvesting late into autumn. The resulting wines have great depth of flavour and vibrant, balanced acidities.
