Q: When is the restaurant at Oakridge closing?

A: Our last day of trade will be Monday 30 June 2025.

 

Q: Why are you closing?

A: It was a very difficult decision to make. However, like many businesses are experiencing, fluctuations in tourism coupled with rising operational costs unfortunately made restaurant operations no longer viable. 

 

Q: What if I already have a booking at the restaurant?

If you have a booking before June 30 then we look forward to welcoming you. If your booking or event is after this date then our team will be in contact to make arrangements. We appreciate many of these events are for important life milestones – and the gravity of this is not lost on us. We’ll do all we can to  work closely with you to ensure this happens in as seamless a manner as possible so please expect us to contact you accordingly. 

 

Q: Does this mean the winery is closing down?

A: No, the winery remains operational, with our winemaking team led by David Bicknell, Tim Dexter and Victoria Schwarz. Vintage 2025 has recently been completed and the wines are outstanding in quality.

 

Q: Where can I buy your wines?

A: Yes, you can still purchase our wines online, via our wine club, cellar door or our retail partners Dan Murphy’s and BWS.

Q: I have a gift voucher, will I lose this value?

A: Gift vouchers may be redeemed in the restaurant until the closure date, and at cellar door at any time. Alternatively we can transfer the amount to a coupon  valid for online purchases or refund if necessary. Our team will be in touch with all valid gift card holders with more information. Q: Can I still purchase a gift voucher?

A: Gift vouchers for cellar door purchases and tastings within cellar door are still available to purchase. 

 

Q: I am a club member, will I still be able to use my discount?

A: Yes, the wine club remains fully operational

 

Q: We love your wine club events, will you still be running any? 

A: Yes, we still anticipate holding wine club events and we’ll release more details in coming months
