The Real Review - 95pts
“Light yellow, reserved colour, and the nose is similarly reserved and under-developed, with malt, almond-meal, underlying lemon citrus and this is repeated in the mouth where it is fine-boned and tensioned, with great intensity and refinement. This is a wine of finesse, stunningly good right now but with potential to do much more with a little bottle-age. A ripping young chardonnay.” – Huon Hooke
Halliday Wine Companion - 96+pts
“From the red volcanic soils at Woori Yallock and sitting at 260m. A brilliant green gold. The purest and most aromatic of the three Vineyard Series wines in ’24. Aromas of stone fruits, apple blossom, subtle oyster shell and jasmine. A hint of bacon even. Very pure on the palate with a very fine vein of acidity running throughout. It’s worth buying all three to see how they turn out over the next decade!” – Philip Rich
The Wine Front - 94pts
“What we have here is a pristine chardonnay. It’s lean-ish and lengthy but it’s complex and in the end it delivers more than enough flavour, along elegant lines. It tastes of tonic water and nectarine, apple and white peach, crushed fennel and salted hay, with a gently citrus leaf character evident in the aftertaste. It’s a lithe, long chardonnay. It has texture and it also has energy. It will perform beautifully in the cellar.” – Campbell Mattinson
